It's going to be a while before I have a chance to wire this up and see if it works, but I'm pretty happy with how it looks and feels. I'm planning to make a lamp with it, and nothing like this exists in New Zealand unless I want to purchase a pre-made lamp for $250 (I paid $6 for this). Of note, the end cap can easily be removed and reattached so that the cable can be fed through a hole.
